COMPACT SCANNING SOLUTION CAMERA SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATIC RECORD - RECOGNIZE - CUT
Compact, fast and reliable! The single-layer cutters from Kuris are the fourth generation of the tried and tested cutting systems that have been completely revised and optimized. The cutting heads with programmable Z-axis are characteristic. The machines are all designed for maximum productivity and optimal manufacturing quality. The adaptive tool technology can be individually and precisely adapted to the respective material. This means that optimal cutting conditions are always achieved. The fourth generation is equipped with the Multiflex changing system. In addition to extremely short piercing times, this system also impresses with its high travel and cutting speed. With the tool change system, setup times are also significantly reduced, as considerably fewer setting processes are required.
The image processing system was specially developed for use on textile and carpet cutting machines from KURIS and is used for the automatic determination of cutting coordinates. Depending on customer requirements, the materials to be cut are scanned in 2D or 3D using the latest camera technology. The cutting coordinates calculated from this are then passed on to the cutting system for further processing.
In addition to the possibility of enlarging or reducing the scanned shapes as required, it is also possible to round corners as required. Various calculation modules that can be adapted to customer requirements help the operator to determine the optimum cutting coordinates. The predefined standard calculation modules help the operator to determine the optimal cutting coordinates:
- Freeform
- Rectangle: Fixed predefined values for the size of the rectangle can also be defined.
- Square (no 90 ° angle)
- Circle: Fixed, predefined radii can also be defined. In addition to the standard calculation modules, special, individually available calculation modules are available:
- Specific: This allows any number of customer-specific and freely definable modules for vector calculation to be created that can be applied to shapes found within a scan.nen.
- Predefined: Use of shapes predefined in a file. The file types dxf, pcx, bmp, tif, png, jpg are supported
- Tiles: Places a freely definable matrix of sub-shapes over the found shape. In addition to rectangles, these sub-shapes can also be circles or - if the module is enabled - predefined shapes.
- Grid: Places a freely definable grid over the found shape. All calculation modes can be adapted to customer requirements, optimized and saved separately. With the statistics module, which is also available separately, production-relevant data such as cut lengths, areas and number of mats can be easily determined. For example, after the end of the shift, this information can be sent by e-mail (also as a csv file).
RECORD - RECOGNIZE - CUT
The textiles / carpets are recorded with the integrated camera system. The cameras allow a quick recording and immediate playback of the scanned image
Image. The intuitive user interface enables the system to be handled in the shortest possible time. Easy communication between software and cutter.
The software processes and filters the recorded images so that the grid is generated directly for cutting. The cutting files are transferred from the scan software directly to the HMI, without additional commands from the operator. No CAD files are necessary.
Developed for the toughest conditions. Cutting head with a high number of strokes (14,000) and 2-edged special knife with 15mm cutting height. The modular cutter can also be equipped for the following applications: Milling Hollow drill Drawing / marking Oscillating knife Driven circular knife.
The machine achieves travel speeds of up to 100 meters per minute, the cutting speed is up to 70 meters per minute, depending on the material. The system is optionally available with a 7.5 or 11 kW vacuum pump. Thanks to the uniform user interface and menu navigation, the machine operator can quickly find his way across technologies. Operating errors and training costs are drastically reduced. Even at high speeds, the system cuts consistently and reliably. The mobile and innovative control is very user-friendly. |
